Detailed Itinerary
Activities: Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (124 km) or NJP Railway Station (148 km) and transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Check in to the hotel. Evening: Visit the vibrant MG Marg for local shopping, leisure walks, and dining. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Visit Tashi Viewpoint for spectacular mountain views. Explore Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok temples. Visit Enchey Monastery, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, Banjhakri Falls, and Flower Exhibition Center. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Early morning drive to Tsomgo Lake, a sacred glacial lake at 12,400 feet, followed by a visit to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. (Optional: Nathula Pass subject to permits and availability). Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.
Post breakfast, start for Lachung (125 km, 6-7 hours drive). En route, admire the scenic beauty and visit Seven Sisters Waterfall and Naga Waterfall. Reach Lachung in the evening, check into the hotel, and rest. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Early morning head towards Yumthang Valley (Valley of Flowers) to enjoy colorful landscapes and hot springs. (Optional: visit Zero Point / Yumesamdong for snow). Return to Lachung for lunch, and begin your return journey back towards Gangtok/NJP for your onward trip home.
