Detailed Itinerary
08:30 AM: Pickup from Howrah by 01 AC Innova and drive towards Godkhali Jetty (Approx. 4 hours journey). 12:30 PM: Arrival at Godkhali Jetty. Road journey ends, and the magical boat journey begins towards the world's largest heritage mangrove forest. Cruise & Gosaba: Cruise through the scenic waterways, passing Gosaba Island (the biggest market village hub). 02:30 PM: Reach Dayapur and check in at Sundarban Wild Camp Hotel (located right opposite the Sundarban Tiger Reserve across the Pitchkhali River). Enjoy lunch at the resort. Evening Exploration: Afternoon boat trip to Jatirampur for bird calling, sunset views, and watching local fishermen. Evening Festivities: Return to the resort for hi-tea and snacks. Enjoy a Special Evening Get-Together with Bonfire (winters only), live Folk Dance by Local Adivasi Tribe Artists, or a Wildlife Documentary about Sundarban. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Morning: After breakfast, get forest permissions and board the boat with an authorized forest-approved guide to enter the deep mangrove forest. Watchtowers & Sightseeing: Full-day cruise till sunset visiting 3 prominent watchtowers: Sajnekhali (Tiger Project, Crocodile Project, Turtle Project, Mangrove Interpretation Centre, Bono Bibi Temple), Sudhanyakhali, and Dobanki (Canopy Walk). Creeks & Wildlife: Cruise through narrow creeks, Pirkhali, Gazikhali, and Pancha Mukhani (Five River Confluence) to spot spotted deer, wild boars, civet cats, water monitor lizards, crocodiles, dolphins, and tigers. Onboard Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments are freshly cooked and served on the boat. 05:30 PM: Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Early morning check-out from Sundarban Wild Camp. Breakfast will be served on the boat during the return journey to Godkhali. Board the AC Innova at Godkhali and drive back to Kolkata. 11:30 AM: Reach Kolkata, concluding the tour with lovely memories of the world's largest heritage mangrove forest.
